With Alan’s background working at his parents greenhouse business, and Kris’ background in horticulture, Goldeman’s Greenhouse began in 1991. Starting out, all Alan and Kris Goldeman had was a 30 x 60 foot greenhouse, a strong work ethic, and a strong desire to raise their plants using no chemicals. Alan and Kris started out trying a little of everything from vegetables, to potted annuals and perennials, to baskets. Within a few years they found their niche and focused on growing high quality, chemical free annual and perennial potted plants at affordable prices. From selling at the Minneapolis Farmers Market to serving local retailers and landscapers, the business has turned into a family business by employing their son and daughter, Jared Goldeman and Jessica Molin and son-in-law, Evan Molin. They now have 5 greenhouses, one pole barn and are now opening up their greenhouses to the public for the first time in the Spring of 2019. Fueled by their strong work ethic and their desire to serve and satisfy their customers, Goldeman’s Greenhouse hopes to grow as a business and family as well as educate others on their high quality and chemical free plants.
